良く晴れましたがシーイングは安定しませんでした。火星が小さく暗くなり、シーイングが悪いと、Ｂ光など撮影がかなり厳しくなって来たなぁと感じます。

夕方、少し晴れ火星撮像。大シュルチスが正面、NPCは明るい。ヘラスは目立たない。

穏やかに晴れてくれたものの酷いシーイング、火星像の輪郭も不明瞭でピント合わせが困難な状態でした。
撮影途中さらに悪化したため、IRも B＜450 も断念しました。詳細不明ですが、記録として報告します。

Mars is becoming increasingly difficult to observe, and during my four-week Mars hiatus while in Australia the planet had drastically shrunk. These will likely be my last images for this apparition as our birch trees effectively obscure the SW horizon.
The RGB images are really blurry and color balance has been difficult, but it appears the equatorial cloud band has been apparent. The 742 nm images show the low-contrast north polar cap, and the Tharsis volcanoes were small dark spots on the 23rd.
