Hi all,here is an image of Jupiter captured last night using a 685nm longpass filter in a short spell of reasonable seeing.
8 captures spanning 11 minutes were processed and merged using Winjupos.
Io and its shadow are visible,with Oval BA rising at lower left.

北西からゆっくりと飛来する巻積雲の狭間を縫っての撮影。光量は不安定ですがシーイングは比較的良好。
雲通過後シーイングが急に悪化し後半のカラーでは
さらに薄雲に覆われた像が時折ユラユラと動揺。

透明度が良く晴れたが気流が一寸悪い。
Oval BAはその後方のSTBが濃く覆う様に連なって見えBAの存在が良く分かる。STrZのリングはまだ健在。
この位相の三つのフェスト―ンは長く見える。

Rain,wind,this 2025/26 Jupiter opposition was very disappointing,
with seeing always poor or with fine details that were difficult to resolve.
Then the unexpected evening (or rather,looking at the still stars,I would have expected it a little),
excellent seeing (8/10),and all the bad things that have happened in recent months are somehow compensated.
The SEB is heavily crowded with small white ovals,
while above it is a very distinctive,three-quarters-complete dark blue band,
and above it two white WOS. The NEB,on the other hand,is characterized by a dark oval and some beautiful blue festoons.

Conditions were very challenging today. The sky was hazy and partly cloudy. I had to literally capture between clouds.
With the low transparency I had to capture a lot of data! I only got one image set because the sky was overcast!
This is a 5XRGB capture captured in a span of 10 min.
This is the region preceding the GRS. Note the bright shark fin like feature on the SEB at the CM.
The NEB shows complex rifts. Note the small STrZ red spot setting on the right.

気流が滅茶苦茶悪く、そのうえ航空機が往来すると大きく気流が乱れ、天頂近くなっても落ち着かず・・・。
Ganymedeの影とIoの本体と影が経過中でしたので撮像を続けましたが・・・・。
