We have been having terrible weather here. In fact,it rained hard early this evening. Fortunately, the sky cleared in time for Mars. We are less than a week before opposition. Seeing was variable today.
Solis Lacus is prominent at the CM. Olympus Mons is the bright spot on the upper left. Of the three Tharsis Volcanoes, only Acreaus Mons is prominent. Phryxi Regio,Aurorae Sinus and Chryse can be seen on the left.

この時期としてはいいシーイングに恵まれた。広い範囲に薄い雲が発生しているのが確認できる。
We were blessed with good seeing. Thin clouds can be seen forming over a wide area.

In variable seeing.
The low altitude made it difficult to get any consistent quality to the data but I merged several runs in WJ to get this image from the best of the conditions.
Olympus Mons can be seen rising at upper left, with Valles Marineris / Solic Lacus close to the centre of the image. Prominent cloud is visible over the north pole and rising limb at lower left.

Under average seeing and good transparency. Total recording time was 26 minutes,4 RGB sets.

この時期としては良い気流に恵まれモニターでも模様がよく見えました。

here is my obs in good conditions but hunting among clouds. I managed to get just one decent video.

It is just over a month since I moved from South Africa to settle in Namibia and I am only now managing to get some sense of calm after an intense last 6 months as we prepared for,and executed, the move.
In the last few days I have managed to set up the C14 in a temporary location (I will rebuilt the observatory in due course, but it will still take some time) and hope to return to my regular imaging.
Attached is a set from late on the 2 December, with the IR captured just after midnight. Elysium is at lower centre with the S Gomer extensions clearly seen.
After the 1500km roadtrip and also with me cleaning the corrector plate last weekend,I still need to spend some time on fine tuning the collimation, but it’s a start!

I was amazed when I looked through the telescope. The true half appeared bright and the true half dark. The contrast was perfect.
I couldn't create that atmosphere in the sketch. Imagine what I wrote in the remarks.
All the patterns were lighter east than Aurorae Sinus. I think it's a dust veil, but looking at recent images,
it seems to be covered with white clouds (clouds that appear bluish in color),which seems to be the reason why the pattern is not visible.
The white clouds were hard to see with the naked eye.
The rim of the morning hemisphere is characterized by being very pale and bright, sometimes brighter than the NP hood.

More cloud-dodging,and again a few drops of rain falling,however those clouds brought dramatic variations in the seeing resulting in a few very good moments in which I could spy quite a lot of interesting things;
The NPC/NPH? It was very bright in white light and was also a little bright in the W21 filter,it seemed offset to the west so maybe a very bright portion of the hood,or maybe a glimmer of cap showing through a thinner area of hood?
The Elysium region seemed to have regained contrast since I observed it on the previous rotation,I found Plegra quite dark, and Cerberus made a sweeping band towards Sinus Gomer.
On a couple of brief occasions I was sure of a bright patch within Elysium, and just once,it resolved itself into a close pair of bright concentrations aligned SSE-NNW.
Good albedo detail around Mares Cimmerium and Sirenum.
Mare Tyrhennuem disappeared into bright fairly mist at the morning limb.
There was more fairly bright mist at the morning and evening limbs near the equator.
The southern limb was also misty but it was a little weaker than the aforementioned areas.

Need to really get caught up on sending in my Mars images, but here are two of my recent images from some long nights on December 2nd and 5th under average to slightly above average seeing conditions for my location in Elkridge,Maryland on the U.S. East Coast.

Here I attach an observation report of Mars which may be interesting for your database. I am relatively new to amateur astronomy and I have recently discovered ALPO Japan, so in spite of my modest equipment (90 mm refractor) I hope to contribute in the future with some observations for your Planetary Observation Archive Project.
