These images target the recent eruption in the STB which is near the CM in the RGB,
and Callisto is nearing the end of transit near the south preceding limb. Seeing was fair but not optimal.

Here are my image submissions from this morning.
Was pleased to have at least captured the STB disturbance below and to the west of the GRS in the IR image.
It has certainly become more elongated. Unfortunately,
it had rotated too close to the eastern limb for it to be visible in the CH4 image.
Callisto is seen just off the eastern limb.
Hoping to capture some colour data once Jupiter rises higher and the seeing improves.
The seeing has been rather disappointing here lately.

3時台は酷いシーイングでしたが、4時を過ぎたあたりから徐々に良くなりました。
撮影も2日目となり慣れが戻ってきました

大赤斑周辺を見るチャンスだったので、粘って雲間から1枚取りました。
STB outbreakは眼視で見ると、STBが部分的に淡くなっているところ、といった感じで、詳しい様子は全くわかりません。
大赤斑前方のSEBは幅広く、フックの先っぽや短いSTrBが少し濃くなったように感じました。

南からゆっくりとした雲の流れがありますが概ね快晴。シーイング良好。途中一時的に雲に覆われた後、若干悪化してしまいました。

Some good seeing conditions yesterday morning (at least for the mid-Atlantic east coast) enabled some decent imaging of Jupiter.
At first,I assumed we had a shadow transit underway,but upon checking WinJUPOS it was actually
Callisto transiting the planet - quite a testimony to how dark an albedo it has compared to Jove.
Cannot make out much detail in the STB eruption that
Dr. Rogers alerted us to,looks to me as if the area is being smeared out a bit.

今期初めての木星画像の報告になります。
高層気流予報の状態は良くなかったのですが、大赤斑が見える時間帯なので無理を承知の上で撮像を実施してみました。
実際には予報の通りで、数打てば当たる方式の撮像になりハードディスクのゴミの大量生産でした。
ドタバタしながらの撮像でも時間だけは容赦なく経過し、2セット目のカラー画像の撮像の頃には空が明るくなり、
以後の撮像は不可能になってしまいました。それでも少量ですが模様の様子の概要が判る程度の画像を取得出来ました。
但しシーイングの影響で1セットのカラー画像とIR画像との時間間隔が大きく離れる結果になってしまいました。
